Visiting Us
New to First Parish in Framingham? Welcome!
You are always welcome at First Parish in Framingham. We embrace many beliefs, welcome all genders and sexual orientations, and are increasingly accessible to people of all abilities.
Welcome to a liberal church supporting a free and responsible search for truth and meaning, social justice, and respect for the interdependent web of all existence.
We need not think alike to love alike. Most of the members of First Parish in Framingham were not born Unitarian Universalists (UU). Ours is a chosen faith. We come from many faith traditions; and some from no religion at all. We come in search of answers to questions like these…
- How can I lead a deeper spiritual life?
- How can I be engaged with something beyond day to day, secular life?
- How can I be part of a community of meaning and purpose?
- How can I (with others) help change the world?
For those of you who are already Unitarian Universalists, we bid you warm welcome, and offer a place from which to continue exploring your spiritual path and living your social justice commitments.
Plan Your First Visit
Sunday morning Worship meets at 10:00 a.m. There will always be a seat for visitors! We also live stream our services on Zoom (September- end of June), with transcription service. Please contact the Church Administrator at office@uuframingham if you would like to receive the Zoom link for the service.
Parents, please note that the Worship service includes a “Time for All Ages” — stories focused on our children and youth.
After Worship services, there is a Coffee Hour that meets every Sunday in person and on Zoom. Feel free to come to Coffee Hour every Sunday to get to know the committed people in this community.
The link for the Zoom Coffee Hour is emailed out each week to those who have asked to be included. If you complete the new visitor form, you can ask to be contacted as well.
Keep an eye out on the home page of website for our events listings such as the Spiritual Book Group, Climate Action Team meetings, or special youth activities
Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you at the Worship service on Sunday or maybe in the Coffee Hour or at a meeting of one of the vibrant programs at First Parish in Framingham. Filling in the New Visitor Form and checking to receive the weekly newsletter will keep you informed of the wonderful work of this congregation.
