Environmental Activist Training

January 20, Noon-5pm in Scott Hall
Hosted by Sustainable Framingham, Mass Sierra Club and First Parish Climate Action Team

With the Trump administration presenting threat after threat to the environment, what we do at the state level is more important than ever to ensure that Massachusetts continues to a be a clean energy and environmental leader.
Please join us for an activist training in our Scott Hall, First Parish Church, 24 Vernon Street on Saturday, January 20.  The two-hour training will begin at 2pm. Presentations by Massachusetts Sierra Club Chapter Director, Emily Norton, will bring you up to speed on key state level clean energy bills under consideration at the State House, and give you the tools you need to effectively advocate for these bills to your elected officials. 2018 is the end of the two-year legislative cycle for key environmental bills that must be out of committee in early February and passed by July 1, 2018.
