This is a difficult and emotionally fraught time for so many. As I write, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is testified about her experience of sexual violence before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Dr. Ford’s is the voice being heard. Her experience reflects the realities of many other women. Others who have experienced similar violence may be remembering/reliving our own past trauma. For a moment of quiet, a time to journal, to light a candle and take a deep breath, the First Parish sanctuary will be open on Sunday afternoon September 30 from 1:30-2:30 and again on Tuesday October 2 from 6:30-7:30.
