Youth at First Parish are actively engaged in the Religious Exploration program in a variety of ways. Youth lead some of our community volunteer efforts and some choose to teach younger ages in our Religious Exploration Sunday morning programming.

Young Religious UUs (YRUU)

All youth from 6th to 12th grade are welcome to join the Youth Group, known as the Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU). The youth lead the group with support from advisers. The advisers are adult volunteers from the congregation. The YRUU meets weekly and together they build an intentional community, support one another, perform service projects, and develop their own brand of affirming worship together.

YRUU is a beloved part of the First Parish in Framingham community and a part of a number of our traditions – the Halloween haunted house, Undecorate the Tree and  the Youth Service at the conclusion of every church year.
