These are frightening and uncertain times. Every day brings announcements of fresh cruelties and further violations of our basic values as Unitarian Universalists. And we are being deliberately confronted with weapons of mass distraction. How should we resist and respond as a community of faith? How do we overcome the malaise of numbness? How do we cut through our stifling outrage and decide where and how to focus our energies? In short, when should we act, how should we act, and for whom should we act? This week, we will try to find that path forward together in Beloved Community.
