Anti-Semitism has become a national crisis in the United States. Research shows that the more Americans know about the Holocaust, the more likely they are to eschew Nazism, intolerance and any hints of anti-Semitism. UU ministerial candidate and First Parish member Lisa Kynvi participated in a Bearing Witness retreat, run by Zen Peacemakers International, at the site of the death camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oświęcim, Poland last November. In this service she shares some reflections on this experience, and links them to the current crisis.
