Lessons and Carols

Each year, we take the carols, the readings, and the story of Jesus birth off the shelf or out of the box, what do we gain from hearing this story in 2020? What insights can it give us?

 This year, our later service on Christmas Eve will be my take on the traditional service of lessons and carols, weaving together the scripture of the season with the words of people like Terry Tempest Williams and others.

The collection will be for the Minister’s Discretionary Fund, helping local folks in need during this difficult time. You can donate online or mail a check to First Parish in Framingham, 24 Vernon Street, Framingham 01701, with memo on check “Minister’s Discretionary Fund.”
