November 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance, honoring the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. Recently, the President’s administration proposed a policy that would define gender as strictly biological and deny the basis of transgender identity. This service will include a ritual of remembrance and reflections on the violence of denial.
