The Worship & Arts Council welcomes Reverend Stephen Shick to the pulpit this Sunday.
Even in dark times a new year arrives each day. As it dawns, we are called to remember the light of those who taught us to choose life that all might live together in peace on this earth.
The Rev. Stephen Shick is Minister Emeritus of the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson. He also served UU congregations in Haverhill, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine. Nationally, he served our faith as the foundings Director of UU Peace Network and Director of the UU Service Committee’s U.S. Programs Department. He is the author of two Skinner books: Be the Change: Poems, Prayers and Meditations for Peacemakers and Justice Seekers and Consider the Lilies: Meditations. he produces “Momentary Meditations,” a brief weekly video poem published on YouTube.
