In mid August a memorial plaque was placed on the site of the Okjokull Glacier, the first of Iceland’s glaciers lost to climate change. The plaque reads in part “. . . we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you will know if we did it.” In support of youth around the world leading the Global Climate Strike, this service focuses on urgency, legacy and the power of community.
