Share the Plate for Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry

UU Urban Ministry is a social justice organization based in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. It’s focus is in three areas: Emergency shelter for people fleeing domestic violence (including their children), and workforce development programming.  They offer academic enrichment for Boston area youth of color.  They also offer arts and humanities programming grounded in a social justice message including concerts and invited guest speakers.
The UU Urban Ministry depends on the financial support from approximately 50 Unitarian Universalist congregations. Your check may be made payable to First Parish in Framingham with UU Urban Ministry on the memo line. Your support over the years has been deeply appreciated and put to good use.
Delegates to UU Urban Ministry from our church are: Valerie Waldman, Myrna Howe, and Carol Lawton.
