The Land Remembers

Led by Paula Palmer, co-director of Toward Right Relationship, a program of the Friends (Quaker) Peace Teams

A service in collaboration with Allston Brighton Congregational Church, UCC, First Parish Church of Berlin, First Parish Church of Groton, First Parish Church of Stow & Acton Unitarian Universalist, First Parish Church United, Westford, First Parish in Framingham Unitarian Universalist, First Parish of Chelmsford Unitarian Universalist, Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson

One of the benefits of worshiping virtually is that we can gather with neighboring congregations. Join area congregations for this service. Many Native people say the land remembers. We invite non-Native people to think about the places on this continent that they know and love, and then ask: What does this land remember? Who loved this land before my family came to know it? What happened to them? How am I connected to them through the land? How could this connection grow into relationship?
Join the service at https://tinyurl.com/landremembers on Zoom.
Please note: FPC Stow and Acton encourages people to arrive ten minutes early to facilitate the process of being cleared through our “waiting room.”  Please note that microphones will be muted, screen sharing will be disabled, and chatting (except to host) will be disabled for this service.  The room will also be locked to new participants about 15 minutes into the service.  We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
