Speaker: Rev. Aaron Wisman

Might Be Joy

We are in the midst of a month of exploring our new UUA Shared Value of Generosity. In this sermon, Rev. Aaron ponders what would have been a better value. It’s not joy, despite what the sermon title says but it is related to it.

Wisdom in the Waiting

On the third Sunday of Advent, I invite us to consider the wisdom that comes in waiting. How do we discern what the next most elegant movement might be, in our quest to rebuild this beautiful and broken world. There will be a Share the Plate collection for Under the Same Moon.

Count on Joy

In days when the light is lessening and with such turmoil in our world, where can we find joy? I’m basing my sermon this Sunday off of Mary Oliver’s poem “Joy Is Not Made To Be A Crumb.”
