June 21, 2018 5:30-7:00
In keeping with this year’s theme of mindfulness, we invite you to join a brief Summer Solstice ceremony at our Labyrinth. Bring a favorite plant from your own garden to add to the beauty of the existing plantings, and some gardening tools.
We will gather together and be mindful of that which does not work in our lives and at the same time, remove the weeds that are trying to crowd out our beautiful garden.
We’ll call to the four directions of the Earth.
We’ll add our plants to the Labyrinth plantings.
We’ll enjoy iced tea and cookies.
And we’ll witness the changing of the seasons and celebrate the longest day of the year.
~ Rain or shine. ~
Meet at 5:30 at the Labyrinth and enjoy refreshments afterwards (if it’s raining we’ll have refreshments in the Memorial Room). Some weeding is included – dress appropriately. Hope to see you there.
